The problem I have with reading is… I have to know what happens. I have to know how the story ends and so I must keep reading. I’m not one of those “stay up until all hours of the night to finish a book” kind of people (my sleep is far more important), but I do feel highly motivated to finish a book once I start it. I can’t just pick a book up, read 15 or so pages and then set it down until the next day. So, I’m all read out, for the moment, as I just finished another book.
I enjoyed the book. I can’t say it was one of my favorite of his, but it was easy reading and had a good story. At one point I actually put it down and walked away because I was frustrated with the story. But, alas, I had to know what happened, so I finished reading. I still think ‘The Testament’ has been Grisham’s best. Thanks for the suggestions on good books, keep them coming!

A change has come over you, my friend. WHAT? READING? What did thatmove DO to you? :) I'm proud that you've joined the "club".
ReplyDeleteToo funny, I am the same way. I will read a book in just a couple of days just to get to the end. The Confession was my least favorite John Grisham. I liked it, but I love his others.
ReplyDeleteI was just reading some of the comments from your post yesterday. Someone suggested Eat pray love. I would not suggest it. It has the F word in it at least 10 times, and then I just stopped reading it. It could be it it more. Plus, the parts I read I felt were very whinny. I wanted to just tell her to GET OVER IT!! We all have trials!!
