These two little girls are loved by all. Even when you turn your head for 5 seconds and they decide to color all over themselves, you still want to hug them!

LINDSEY & AVERY
Swim Lessons
Dylan finished his swim class on July 29. It was the beginner class to get the kids used to the water. He did so many fun things like bobs (putting your head under water and coming back up), cutting down the trees (the teacher would have the kids pretend they were trees and she would cut them down and they’d fall into the water),
just plain jumping into the water, singing ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’ while putting their heads back in the water,
singing the alligator song and getting pulled into the pool because the alligator got them (they were the monkey),
floating (with and without a life vest),
and the list goes on and on. His favorite thing to do was to make a noodle train and he loved his teacher, Allee.

Family Home Evening With the Wells
The Wells came over for dessert and rides on Frank on Monday evening. The Fat Boy ice cream sandwiches are always a hit, and always messy when it comes to Lindsey and Avery. Gotta love those sweet, cute, little girls!
Well, Kiersten, Bekah and and Aaron and Adam
(for a very short time), got rides and then Frank tuckered out and was out of air, literally, he got a flat tire. Overall, I think it was a good evening!
Again With The Zoo
Friday we went to the zoo, again. With Makenzie, again.
Avery and Dylan just adore Makenzie (me too!) and this time it was Avery’s turn to sit with her on the rides.
We tried to see all of the animals that we didn’t get to see last time, and we spent a lot more time in mist sprayers because wow, was it hot!!
The highlights were thegiraffes,
rhinos,
and apes,
oh my! (Sorry, couldn’t resist). We also saw the bird show this time, which we all really enjoyed!
Dylan even got to give a bird a $1.00 as a donation to the zoo.Avery did too, but she just dropped it and ran!

Nana’s Yearly “Dylan Tradition”
Each year, starting in July 2007, my mom has taken (or had me take) a picture of Dylan on the same slide at Payson Park. Here is a recap of the past years and Dylan’s 2010 picture. I love my handsome boy!

Their Own Little Drums
Dylan has decided that he enjoys dressing up in his Halloween costumes (thanks, Jenni) and finds it most appropriate to play Star Wars Wii, while wearing his clone costume.Avery, when asked to go lay down for a nap, comes up with this.
5 plus 1
What happens when you get 5 of the girls from our primary class together, plus one adopted Beehive from our ward?… a whole lot of fun and laughing. We had another class party last night, but none of the boys showed up, so we partied girl style. The girls played in the water, jumped on the trampoline, did fashion shows both in their bathing suits and Dylan and Avery’s old Halloween costumes (we even took a walk in the costumes), ate dinner, did some more walking,
and ended the night with heart-attacking the bishopric members houses. Wow, these girls have a lot of energy and I was tired after I had finally dropped them all home. Tons of fun though, and I’m grateful I have the opportunity to teach such a great group of girls (and our boys too)! Highlights of the evening follow…
