Nathan took Dylan and Avery to Home Depot on August 4. He was solo this time, as I had to help clean the church building with the youth. The theme of this craft was The Lorax and the kids made cork boards.

Visit to Nana & Bumpa’s
Nathan was out of town for a couple of days at the end of July for training, so the kids and I went to my parents for one of the nights. It was nice to hang out and visit and the kids love sleeping in the two beds at my parents!

This & That
We had our annual ward pool party. The kids were so excited because they don’t make you follow the rules, which means they could jump off the diving board and Avery could go down the slide. It was lots of fun!
Two of my Miamaids who LOVE their picture taken!
We also had our annual stake carnival. Dylan loved the bounce house obstacle course and Avery loved the cotton candy.
Our harvest has begun. We enjoy getting food from there and the kids love getting to pick as much as they can, sometimes even when things aren’t ready to be picked!
Visit from Nathan’s Brothers
Bright and early (4:45am to be exact) on the morning of the 4th of July, Nathan’s brothers, Aaron and Andre’, and their families, arrived at our house to surprise Nathan. Nathan woke up, told them to come back in a few hours and the surprise visit began. They spent 4 days with us, celebrating the 4th of July and the twins’ birthday on the 6th. Also, on the 7th, Grandma and Grandpa Edwards came over to visit and be with all of their great-grandchildren.
Most exciting was that we got to meet Stella for the first time. She’s already 7-months-old, but that’s okay.
The kids had tons of fun together. Charolotte and Avery were like two peas in a pod.
