Girls Camp, Final Days

Friday we, and I use “we” loosely (I sprained my ankle the day before at the lake and was laid up on the couch), started the day with service.  The girls and leaders worked hard cleaning windows, pulling weeds, and mowing the lawn at the cabin.

Then “we” were off for a short hike.  Rumor has it that the girls convinced the leaders to go further and this “short” hike ended up lasting over two hours.  They planned on being gone 45 minutes!  Thanks to the girls for taking my camera along.

We then played this food game where you and your opponent get a brown paper bag with a food in it.  You have to open it and then eat whatever is in it as fast as you can.  Some of the food items included; pop rocks, starburst, gummi worms, pudding, peanut butter crackers, licorice, etc.  It was interesting, to say the least!

More dancing games, the Wigalo, ended our final evening.  Saturday we woke early, cleaned, and headed home.  It was an amazing three days with remarkable girls and leaders.
