Clockwork Angel. This is another Cassandra Clare book. It is the prequel series to the Mortal Instruments series. I had a hard time getting through this book. The characters weren’t as strong and it dragged on quite a bit. I hope that the next book in the series proves to be as good as those in the Mortal Instruments.
I NEED YOUR HELP. With having finished this book, I only have 7 more books to read to complete my goal of 52 books in a year. My plan is to read the Book of Mormon in 40 days as the last book, but I would like your suggestions for my next to last book. Let me know your top three choices of books I should definitely read and whichever gets the most votes, wins!!! Please don’t list the same book 3 times. I will tally the choices in one week!

ReplyDeleteIt's older... but it was a good mystery. By Georgette H... Sorry. Her last name is escaping my memory right now. I started and finished it Sun night/Mon AM... I'm kind of excited to read her other mystery books. My other favorite books are by Dorothy Keddington... Return To Red Castle, Jayhawk, Flower of the Winds, and the Mermaids Purse. They are mystery/adventure with a touch of romance. I have probably read each about 10 times. Discovered when I was in high school. LOVE LOVE LOVE!
PS... I felt the same about Clockwork Angel. Probably b/c Mortal Instruments was first. I found myself missing Clary &c. I too, am hoping the rest get better.
ReplyDeleteI have always loved "A Wrinkle in Time". I read it in Jr High and I read it every couple of years. The series "The Uglies" "The Pretties" "The Specials" was an interesting bunch. I'm going to round up some more to bring tomorrow. I can't believe how fast you burned through your goal!! I'm impressed!
