MIXED Feelings

I have learned I have mixed feelings about painting.  First of all, a perfectionist who lacks patience is not someone who should paint.  Two coats of primer, plus two coats of paint sounds good until you realize there is 30 minutes to 4 hours of drying time between each coat.  WHAT?  Also, no matter how small of a brush you use, the corners and edges will never look perfect... I just had to come to terms with that.  However, painting in and of itself is very therapeutic and I enjoyed it.  I suppose as I paint more I will learn tricks that will make it go faster and things to look closer to perfect.  The master bedroom is next on my list.

  1. It looks so cute! I seriously love it!
I had to laugh because you just described me and my experiences with painting. We painted parts of our house a couple months ago and it drove me nuts that now matter what I did, I just couldn't get some of those lines PERFECTLY straight(hehehe).
