In addition to playing soccer, Dylan is also playing baseball. He has had three games now, the pictures are from his first. His first game he struck out all three times at bat and never touched the ball while on the field. His second game he had two hits and one strike out and touched the ball a couple times while on the field. Today, his third game, he hit every time he was up (got two RBI) and made one out at third base while on the field. It has been fun and frustrating watching and helping him learn how to play. He really enjoys it though, and that’s all that matters! Go Scrappers!!!

Scales & Tails
Last Friday, Ms. French (the best Kindergarten teacher EVER) arranged to have Scales & Tails come and do a presentation for all of the Kindergarteners.
Once he got past the tarantula, scorpion and lizards…I was much better. Yuck!
My baby boy was so brave and went up front and held a blue-tonged skink. It looked like a hot dog with tiny legs.
There were lots of different animals.
Dylan’s future wife, Koral, got to hold a 5 foot ball python. She was really calm.
At the end, I got to help hold a 16 foot boa constrictor. It was super cool!
Avery got to come too, which she enjoyed!
Thanks, Ms. French, for a fun morning!

Happy Easter
The kids had a fun Easter morning. They both got new Easter clothes, and they got the game Hungry Hungry Hippo. Then, after they found their baskets (with a new Transformers electric toothbrush), they had an Easter egg hunt.
Oh, and, earlier in the week, we colored eggs.
Home Depot Outing
We found out recently that on the first Saturday of every month, Home Depot hosts a free craft clinic for kids. So, we headed over. The kids made a window hanging bird feeder. They also got an apron, a pin and a certificate…all for free! I LOVE FREE!!
They also had an Angry Bird shoot set up and a picture frame.
My Baby Girl is 4!!
Avery turned 4 on April 2. She is such a beautiful, spirited, strong-willed girl. Avery has a fun personality, and, when not grumpy, is usually the life of the party!! She loves to dance, play Wii and Nintendo 64 with her daddy and brother, sing, change clothes often, and brighten everyone’s day.
On her birthday we went to Build-A-Bear. Strangely though, my children both chose to build a dog. Oh well, they had fun! Avery named her dog, Lucy and Dylan named his, Ryan. Grams and Papa Eddie were in town and Nathan had the day off, so we had quite the party!!
Later that evening, we went to Red Robin for dinner. The following day we did cake and ice cream.
